Subsidies for Solar Self-Consumption Systems. Take advantage of them before December 31, 2023

En Quetebe, we are committed to the promotion of renewable and sustainable energies. Solar energy, a clean and efficient source, plays a crucial role in the transition to a greener future. Its ability to convert sunlight into electrical energy or heat makes it one of the most promising alternatives to fossil fuels.

It is important to note that aid and subsidies for the installation of self-consumption solar systems are coming to an end in December of this year. At Quetebe, we want to make sure you take advantage of these opportunities before they end.

What is solar energy?

Solar energy is energy obtained from the sun, an inexhaustible and powerful source of renewable energy. It is widely used to generate electricity and provide heat, playing a vital role in moving towards sustainable energy solutions. Through photovoltaic solar panels, this energy is converted into electricity, while thermal panels take advantage of the sun's heat to heat water and spaces.

En Quetebe, we recognize the potential of solar energy to reduce our dependence on fossil fuels, reduce our carbon footprint, and foster a cleaner, more sustainable energy future. Its application extends from small domestic installations to large solar plants, showing its versatility and efficiency in different contexts and energy needs.

Operation of Solar Panels

The photovoltaic solar panels They work by capturing sunlight through cells usually made of silicon. When sunlight hits these cells, a reaction is generated that produces electrical energy. This process, known as the photovoltaic effect, converts solar energy directly into electricity, which can be used immediately or stored for later use.

Furthermore, the thermal solar panels They are used to capture the heat of the sun. These panels contain a fluid that, when heated by solar exposure, transfers heat for uses such as water and space heating. This technology is especially useful for heating and domestic hot water applications, efficiently taking advantage of solar heat.

En Quetebe, we apply these technologies to maximize the efficient use of solar energy, adapting them to the specific needs of each client and context.

Types of Solar Panels

Photovoltaic solar panels: These plates are designed to convert sunlight into electricity. They are ideal for self-consumption systems and can be installed in residences, companies and public infrastructures.

Thermal solar panels: Primarily used to heat water, these plates absorb heat from the sun and transfer it to a heating system or hot water storage tank.

Hybrid solar panels: They combine the functions of photovoltaic and thermal panels, generating electricity and heat at the same time. They are an efficient solution to maximize the use of solar energy.

Prices and Installation Costs

The cost of installing solar panels varies depending on the type of panel, the capacity, and the complexity of the installation. Overall, the initial investment can be significant, but it is offset by long-term energy bill savings and available subsidies.

En Quetebe, we offer personalized solutions and expert advice to help you choose the most suitable and cost-effective option, considering both your energy needs and your budget.

Aid and Subsidies for the Installation of Solar Panels

The installation of solar panels benefits from various aid and subsidies, facilitating the transition towards more sustainable energy. These subsidies vary depending on the location and type of facility.

En Quetebe, we advise you to access this aid and maximize your investment:

Subsidy Type Description Amount
State Subsidies Discounts and reductions in taxes for solar installations. Up to 50%
Personal income tax deduction Depending on the Autonomous Community, it can reach up to 40% Varies by Autonomous Community
Real Estate Tax Bonus (IBI) Incentives for solar energy projects at the local level. Varies by municipality
Reduction in the Tax on Constructions, Installations and Works (ICIO) Depending on the municipality, it can be reduced by up to 95% Varies by municipality

Advantages and Disadvantages of Solar Energy

Considering solar energy involves evaluating its benefits and limitations. In Quetebe, we want you to know both aspects:

Advantages Disadvantages
Ecological and sustainable Dependence on climatic conditions
Significant reduction in electricity bill Relatively high initial investment
Low maintenance and long durability Requires space for installation
Increases property value
Generate local energy and reduce dependence on the grid
Subsidies and tax benefits available

Basic Requirements for Installation in Homes

To install solar panels in your home, there are several technical and legal requirements that must be met:

  • Suitable surface: It is necessary to have sufficient space on the roof or in the installation area, free of shadows and with good solar exposure.
  • Orientation and angle: The ideal orientation is towards the south, with an angle of inclination that maximizes sun exposure throughout the year.
  • Permits and regulations: Depending on the location, specific permits may be required and compliance with local or regional regulations may be required.
  • Structural evaluation: It is important to ensure that the structure where the plates will be installed can support their weight.

En Quetebe, we offer complete advice to ensure that your installation meets all these requirements and maximizes its efficiency.

This company is the most competent, but third most commercial, and will lose a complete client (cameras, alarm, TV) for €50.

I have had Solar panels installed by Quetebe. It went live on the 6th. JULY. I am very pleased with it. The two installers were fantastic and worked very hard. Quetebe have taken care of all the paper work. I recommend them very highly. S superb job from start to finish.

From the first encounter with this company to the last bit of rubbish collected - everything was exceptional! And I know what I am talking about because we were renovating the house and over the past three months I had to deal with dozens of workers… The two guys that were installing our panels were polite, punctual, very quiet, respectful and knowledgeable. Focused on job done and nothing else. Happily answered our questions. Even though our roof was not the easiest to work on (not flat and small surface). The communication with the office was very good. They have a well established departments who work with different stages of the installation: assessment of the property for quote (they actually come over with the drone, so you can have a “visual” of your installation), filing application for government grant on your on behalf, installing software. And they all speak very good English! 😊 It has been only three weeks since the installation but we are happy with the output of the panels and already saving money and nature. Thank you, Quetebe! Keep up good job and good luck! PS They also can install protection against birds nesting. Which not all companies do.

Everything was correct and professional. I had a problem with the remote control, they changed it without any problem and they called me to help me. Thank you very much. I will buy again. I recommend the store.

Tax Bonuses and Deductions

The installation of solar systems is not only beneficial for the environment, but also for your economy thanks to various bonuses and tax deductions:

  • Bonus on Real Estate Tax (IBI): Many municipalities offer a reduction in the IBI for the installation of solar energy systems.
  • Reduction in the Tax on Constructions, Installations and Works (ICIO): Some municipalities apply discounts on this tax for those who install solar systems.
  • Personal income tax deductions: In some autonomous communities, a part of the investment in solar systems can be deducted from the income tax return.

En Quetebe, we help you navigate these tax options so you can take full advantage of the economic benefits of your solar energy investment.

Future Perspective and Closing of Aid

As we approach the end of current subsidies for the installation of solar systems, it is important to consider the future of solar energy. Although these subsidies have been an important boost, the solar sector continues to advance thanks to technological innovation and growing environmental awareness.

En Quetebe, we believe that solar energy will remain relevant as a key solution for a sustainable energy future. We will continue to offer solutions that adapt to this changing landscape, ensuring that our customers can benefit from solar energy effectively and economically.
